Union board approves computer purchases and staff changes
Union Board of Trustees approved buying 10 Apple and six McIntosh computers for the education center for 1990 91. An additional computer will expand memory in the business office at 369 dollars. Geraldine Hunn of Lubbock is the leading librarian candidate and may work two days weekly if contracted. The district will lose about 19000 state funds and will not receive career ladder funding, adding higher criteria for levels II and III, and the migrant program will be dropped due to low enrollment.
