Firefighters Attend Meeting and Conference Notes
Members of the Volunteer Fire Department traveled to Crane on Saturday April 17 to attend the Peru Basin District convention. The fall conference will be held here in October. Several firefighters attended the Lubbock Area Firemen's Conference last week to learn methods for hazardous materials, electrical equipment, training, inspections, house and pit fires, protective clothing, safety gear, and rescue tools. The department had a quiet March with only three fire calls, the lowest in months.
