Local roads and culverts gain funds from April allotment

In the precinct eight to ten workers operate under the R F C relief fund. New culverts are being built at several points near town and other worthwhile road improvements are under way. Funds are drawn from the April allotment.

Revival Meetings Announced in Brookshire Area

A revival at the Methodist Church in Brookshire starts next Sunday with Rev. J. Coy Williams preaching daily. A Baptist revival is set for the second Sunday in June led by Rev. Andrews of Madisonville, with prior revivals and visiting singers noted in local reports.
