Local softball action features late VFW win and Rotary rally
In a double header the VFW edged the Brookshire Lions 6 to 5 after trailing, while Katy Rotary defeated North Katy 7 to 4. Key innings include a three run fourth for VFW and a decisive sixth inning rally by Rotary. A fourth inning triple play by North Katy marks a season highlight. Fulshear crushed Katy Rotary 14 to 3 in a Tuesday game with Kovar homeruns and a flurry of later scoring.
