Funeral Services for Joseph Hevrdess Held Last Friday
Funeral services for 63 year old Joseph Hevrdess were held Friday at 2 p.m. from Marsk Funeral Home with Rev. Wilfred Wakefield officiating. Interment followed at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Hevrdess died October 1 at Hintdale Sanitarium after a brief illness. Born in Chicago on October 26 1823 he lived in Stockfield before 25 years at his current address. He was employed by Western Screen Sash Company in Cigero. Surviving are his widow Lyta two sons James and Frank two daughters Lydia Margaret and Geraldine and sister Anna Latka of Berwyn.
