Four youths steal cab, crash during Ogden viaduct chase
LaGrange police and nearby towns aided four injured in a two car crash on the viaduct after a stolen cab rammed through a roadblock. Suspects Richard Fuentes, Joseph Vatolito were captured, Lawrence Salbaggio later arrested, Richard Sanchez escaped. Greenman and Lowe were treated for injuries. Greenman charged with reckless driving.

LaGrange officers aid in traffic near Caden bridge
Chief George Mason and Sgt Edwin Balzer of LaGrange Park rushed to assist LaGrange police as Mason directed traffic at the mid west of Caden bridge. A yellow car bore down, Mason dodged within six inches despite a recent operation. Balzer helped directing traffic while Officers Stuart Winn and Paul Chandler patrolled in Squad Car 29.
