Armerias auxiliary aids veterans via gifts and craft shop outreach
The Armerias auxiliary led by Mel Hazel-Wilson plans to expand to over 800 units nationwide and raise participation for 1947 1948. The Feely unit has donated funds to the Gift Shop at Dwight Kankakee Manteng Jacksonville Marion and Municipal TB hospitals for Christmas gifts mailed free to veterans families. The group supports the Department Treasure Chest and insulin and Vaponefrin funds for diabetics and asthmatics who cannot afford medicine. Special projects run at 27 Illinois hospitals with veteran patients. The Veterans Craft Exchange at 0 West Washington Street Chicago offers handmade Christmas gifts from veterans nationwide. Rehabilitation chairman is Mrs Fay Kendall of Feely unit.

Man Falls Through Floor During Under Construction Display
