Trustees met Monday night in a two hour session with Mayor Hayford presiding. The Brookfield Planning Commission urged zoning up to 50 families per acre in Class B areas, referred to the zoning board. Walter D. Wilson asked settlement for sewer and water project plans. An ordinance on vehicular license fees was revised and approved with specific rates. Brookfield-North River side water dividend of about $5,000 was announced. clerk to send thanks. A conference was set on liquor license disputes, wage schedule readjustment authorized, and Clara Falout named village collector. A telephone franchise and departmental reports were noted. New homes and alterations added to November credits totaling $99,987.06. Annexation of no man’s land area discussed, about 100 acres, subject to owner approval. The spring concert at Riverside Brook High School auditorium drew a full crowd on Wednesday evening December 10. Soloist Mary Van Kirk delivered a rich smooth voice with sincerity and grace while Willard Sektbere provided deft piano accompaniment.
