Funeral services for Mrs Arthur MacDonald nee Ogle will be held Thursday afternoon December 1 at 2 oclock at Congress Park Community church with burial in Clarendon Wills cemetery. The Nepis Funeral home 446 Ogden avenue will be in charge of arrangements surviving Mrs MacDonald are her husband, mother of Marine Kath and JoAnn, daughter of Mrs Ferne Ogle of Congress Park and sister of Robert and Ralph Ogle. Mrs MacDonalds death occurred at her home 4126 Blanchard avenue Tuesday afternoon.

Remembering W. W. Loomis Obituary Milestones
True newspaper instinct and wit defined W. W. Loomis a LaGrange figure of forty years. Born 1876 in Clermont Iowa, he rose from editor roles in Iowa City and Boone to a long local career, led Illinois press groups, Sigma Delta Chi, UNESCO delegate, and authored Newspaper Law. He died after a life of civic service leaving eight grandchildren and surviving family including three daughters and a son. He spoke from Alaska to Florida and influenced national and local journalism. The LaGrange Citizen ran his final editorials this week.

Gross Ensemble contest to be held in January at Roosevelt Bellwood

St Barbara's Mothers' Club met in the school hall on December 3. First prize trophies were awarded for top percent. Trial of John Binds Over In Decades-Old Case
