Brookfield Picnic Plans Include Clown Fun and Prizes
AKiwanis Park picnic will feature a kiddies program with a clown and balloon artist, bubble gum contest, games, races, dancing to a well known orchestra, and a movie finale. Brookfield shoppers receive tickets at 400 local businesses to be saved for prize drawing. The first prize is a Hot Point iron worth 240 dollars. If weather fails the event moves to the next Sunday. Hubka Funeral Rite Held for Amelia Hubka
Funeral services for Amelia Hub Sa nee Hruby were held at St Barbara s church Tuesday at 9 30 o clock with interment at St Adalbert s cemetery. She lived at 80 Grand Boulevard and was wife of the late James Hubba and mother of Helmond G Edsie Smith Amy Walsh and Helen and James Huoka. She belonged to St Barbara s court No 28 Women s Catholic Order of Potesters Brookfield Camp of the Royal Neighbors Circle F093 Daughters of Isnoed and Veterans of Foreign Wars auxiliary. The body was moved from Mansfield Funeral chapel to St Barbara s for the service conducted by Father Stokes.

Fishermen Return From Pelican Lake Camp With Big Pike
