Wreck at Temple Theatre Corner Injures Car in Minor Accident
Last Monday a collision occurred at Temple Theatre corner involving Arthur Wentley and another Ford. Wentley, traveling north and turning east on Main, paused as the other car approached from the west. The other driver misjudged the turn, struck Wentley’s left front hub cap, but no one was injured. Carroll’s car escaped undamaged while Wortley’s sustained a broken spindle. The law states cars from the right have right of way at intersecting roads.

Biggest wheat yield in state this year
Ernest Forest raised the finest field of wheat in the state on the S. D. Patton farm northwest of Veedersburg. The crop averaged a fraction over 41 bushels per acre by machine measurement.
