Attempt 10 Rob Post Office
A Wednesday night attempt to enter the post office failed as intruders broke a screen from the transom and damaged the inner fastener. Prosecutor Murphy investigated theft charges against several youths. all listed robberies were investigated and the boys confessed.

Brook Dairy Changes Hands
Harvey Waring sold his dairy to C. E. Kaufman who took possession Wednesday. Kaufman, an experienced farmer, will maintain the operation and milk prices. Milk will be priced per quart and pint at six and one half cents. He will test all cows for tuberculosis and run the plant from the White place. Short returns to the farm immediately.

Fire at Gem Building Sparks Town Alarm
A Sunday morning blaze at the Gem Building caused smoke from the second story and drew a crowd. Big Chief Myers located and doused the fire with water, stopping it on the lodge floor over the grocery department. Authorities believe it started from a cigarette stub in the cuspidor. repairs included new floor joists and cemented doors. Lost license plate alert accompanying the notice.
