Bronte Oil Drilling Set For 3500 Foot Test
G A Simons of Muskogee and H Ogden of Wichita set a 3500 foot test on the E C Rawlings ranch five miles northwest of Bronte. The stake was placed this morning and drilling to start soon with hopes of proving an oil field north of Bronte. Ogden, former head driller on a prior well, believes there is potential for a commercial flow and aims to complete by June.

Birthday Surprise Party For Young Honoree
A small community celebration was held on a Tuesday for a spry honoree turning fourteen. About twenty guests ranged in ages from free rye to fourteen, with Rev J Thermos and the editor among attendees.
