Faith in a continuing city and a new land to come
The preacher recalls Abraham seeking a city with foundations and urges faith amid ruin. He recounts world upheavals from Warsaw to London and reflects on West Texas pioneers who built a future country. The piece honors a community gathering with memories, a picnic lunch, and a pledge to pioneer again toward a fairer land.
