Funeral services for Mrs. Mary A Slaughter 82 were held at 10 am in Abilene with graveside rites at Ricbert Lee Cemetery at 2 pm The Rev Fred Brown and Dr Gordon Bennett conducted the services In Abilene she lived with her daughter and son in law Noel and Maxine Percifull since 1952 She died Saturday in Hendrick Memorial Hospital Born September 14 1888 in Trinity Texas She married J C Slaughter February 2 1921 He died December 29 1927 Survivors include son Ray Ledbetter three daughters Jewell Seeley Zelma Caperton and Maxine Percifull four grandchildren and three great grandchildren one sister Julia Wilson Pallbearers listed.
