The Coke County Commissioners Court orders a countywide election on June 14 1947 to decide issuing 275000 dollars in bonds for a courthouse and jail. Presiding officers are named for multiple precincts with voting at 15 places and a required tax levy to pay interest and a sinking fund. Ballots ask for or against bond issuance and tax levy.
