Coke County votes to issue $275000 courthouse and jail bonds
Coke County Commissioners Court orders a June 14 1947 election on issuing bonds of $275000 for construction and equipment of a courthouse and jail payable over 30 years with a tax levy to cover interest and sinking fund. Precinct polling places listed and voters must own taxable property to vote. Ballot options authorize or deny bond issuance and tax. County and county clerk certify order.
