Tennyson News Highlights Community Visits and Events
Local notes record numerous visits and gatherings across towns including Cottonwood, San Angelo, Odessa, Abilene, Bronte, Robert Lee, and Sweetwater. Social rounds feature Easter holiday hosting, weekend guests, and family dinners. A Fort Polk soldier is now stationed at Fort Leonard Wood. Flores Speaks on Education At Sorosis Club Meeting
Vetal Flores spoke on Modern Trends in Education at the Sorosis Club gathering held April 4 in Mrs. R. T. Caperton’s home. The group announced two first place awards from the Brownwood Federation of Clubs convention for local activities education projects and national legislation international affairs programs. Royce Fancher was elected president for two years with officers Caperton Percifull Richards Low McDonald Lee Crockett and Boecking named to their posts.
