The Runnels Baptist Association will meet next Monday at First Baptist Church in Ballinger. The board meeting and WMU start at 5 30 p m followed by supper at 6 30 p m and the evening program at 7 15 p m.
Patricia Ann Smith and Raymond Lloyd Jones wed at Greggton Methodist Church in January with Rev. Wayland Elmore officiating. The bride, daughter of Mrs. William E. Terry and the late E. J. Smith, wore a satin gown with lace details and carried a white carnation bouquet. Maid of honor Patsy Owens and bridesmaids Barbara Smith stood with James Smith as best man and Dan Odile as groomsman. The couple, White Oak High School graduates, are studying at Kilgore Junior College.

Funeral services for Paul W. Comolli 57 of Sweetwater were held at 5 p.m. Thursday at Lamar Street Church of Christ with ministers from several churches officiating. Burial followed in Garden of Memories. He died April 9 at Simmons Memorial Hospital. He was born February 17, 1912 in Del Rio and graduate of Abilene Christian College. He married Mary Frances Collier in 1937 and later Mrs. Snell Franklin in 1958. He owned Sweetwater Floral Co and served on the Sweetwater School Board. Surviving are his wife, two sons Kent of Houston and Bobby of Lubbock, a daughter Carolyn Dycus of Denton, a step son, three step-daughters, two sisters and 10 grandchildren.
Ed Nunnally qualified for Kansas City Life Insurance Company's President's Club and received an invitation from President Joseph R. Bixby to attend the 1969 Seminar at the Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs West Virginia in April 1963. The annual meeting recognizes top producers. fewer than 10 percent of 2670 agents qualify. Nunnally is a former Bronte resident and former owner of the Bronte Enterprise.
