Folk Mass Winds of God at Michaels Church Service

The Folk Mass Winds of God was sung at Michaels Church during the 10 am service led by Rev John H Peterson Curate earlier this year. Guitarists include Carol Gray Albert Narducci and violinist Gene Rosser. A coffee hour followed the service.

East Shore Route Inspected This Week

Rhode Island public works inspectors led a ninth annual bus tour during National Highway Week, covering 148 miles of I-95 upgrades and proposed routes from Providence to Newport and Barrington. Gov. Licht and DPW director Morris Chetney spoke to media about projects, including I-95 completion, Westerly bypass plans, and the East Shore Expressway site. Rep. Mt Hope Voyage Set For 5000 Mile U S Trip

The Mt Hope cruise vessel departed Warren for a 5000 mile voyage spanning the Great Lakes and connecting the Hudson Erie Canal Illinois River and Atlantic Seaboard. Capt Stanley A Salomon sails as skipper with Owen Boland as first mate. Thirteen eight passengers join from across the nation for the historic roundtrip likely returning to Warren around Oct 23. The ship to operate from St Petersburg in winter on five day trips.
