DeSimone Swears In Bisbane As Bristol Town Clerk

Orlando J. Bisbane is sworn in as Bristol town clerk in ceremony at the new Court Street town office. Attorney General DeSimone administered the oath as officials witnessed. Bisbane succeeds Anthony J. Dennis, now an associate judge in the new district court. The Town Hall, opened for inspection, is a 1922 building acquired by the RI Development Council for 23800 dollars plus adjacent parking. The project is expected to save about 112000 dollars versus new construction and will serve the town for about 10 years with expanded police space and public parking.
