Town Council will hold a 7 30 p m public hearing on proposed rezoning of land south of Bay View avenue east of Buttonwood street. Bristol Lace Company seeks the site for a 50 000 dollar factory 166 by 50 feet with 72 foot front, 50 employees, soundproof brick building and landscaping. Residents reportedly oppose the change while Bristol police fund buys Series 6 bonds.

The Vestry voted to donate 20 to the Bristol Buddies Bundles Fund and invest 1000 of parish funds in bonds during the Third War Loan drive. Howard N.
