Three Men Arrested Here Held For Grand Jury
Fall River men George Oliverio Edward Pelton and Isador Belovitz faced grand jury action after arrest on October 4 for attempting to steal 74 100 pound bags of sugar from a stall in a Thompson avenue garage. Oliverio and Pelton were bound over by Judge Benjamin F Lindemuth with bail set at 4000. Belovitz was sent back to Cranston State Prison. The trio claimed they came to obtain moonshine.
