Leon F Kenney to be ordained this evening
Leon F Kenney pastor of the Carolina Free Baptist Church and son of Mrs Leon J Kenney will be ordained into the ministry at the church service this evening. Bristol friends are expected to attend. He is a native of the town and a 1924 Colt Memorial High School graduate who studied at Whitham Jewell College Newton Theological Seminary and Harvard and married Ruth McColley in 1929. The service features a full program led by Rev Wm T Green with organ, hymns, scripture, anthem, and an ordination sermon by Rev Dr Everett C Herrick.
