Bristol Community Band Plans First Grand Fair
The Bristol Community Band led by Ferdinand lastello organizes a fair at Academy Hall Wood Street on Nov 10 and 17 to raise funds for its youth orchestra. A 38 member group with added horn and bass drum will perform while a citizens committee gathers donations and prizes for booths and dancing.

Teenager Charged After Collision With State Trooper
John Valante aged about 17 of 5 Usher Street was arrested by Corp Poole on a charge of operating an automobile without a license after his vehicle collided with a State Police car at Wood and Church streets. Valante, arraigned Wednesday, posted bail for the Fifth District Court session.
