Walker Elected New G O P Head In Rhode Island City

Raymond A Walker was elected head of the G O P town committee with no opposition at a Burnside street meeting. Antonio Cabral became vice chairman Gilbert Nutini secretary Luke White treasurer and Orlando Bisvano Franklin Springer Manuel Ribeiro Jr Rodrigues and Virginia Ruggiero named to the executive committee White defeated Ribeiro for treasurer 18 14 Ribeiro then backed White for the post and joined the executive committee The group sought harmony with several candidates withdrawing prior to voting Ruggiero was the sole nominee listed on the committee slate and Nutini noted three committee openings with about five applicants Bisbane received thanks for two and a half years of service.
