AnIsanti News recounts Angela Anderson and Jack Johnson marrying after a church ceremony led by Pastor A B Carlson. The couple, both active in church and community events, will live in RuralSwamp Addition and plan civic involvement.
Lt Col Everett E McMillan, commander of the 243rd AAA Gun Battalion, was given a polished brass 90 millimeter shell case by battalion officers at Cranston Street Armory in Providence. The shell commemorates the unit’s top Army Training Test score at Camp Wellfleet last summer and the case was produced by Reed and Barton in Taunton Massachusetts.
The Distaff Duo Anne Tremontozzi soprano and Gertrude Coady contralto will appear next Wednesday evening in Colt Auditorium. Sponsored by the Women's Guild of the Congregational Church, the event is a community project aimed at expanding local concerts and covering expenses.

Trask of 7 Collins Street has been promoted to captain in the Rhode Island National Guard where he serves as a radar officer in the 243rd AAA Group He began Navy service in 1942 and joined the guard in 1949 He was commissioned in 1951 and attended service schools at Fort Bliss Texas He is currently employed by Ostby and Barton.
Morris Finger of the Bristol Chamber board criticizes the Civic Industries Committee for failing to attract new industry. He urges the chamber to form its own group to pursue prospects, citing lack of available floor space as a hindrance. August E Gibbemeyer clarifies Finger acted individually. No action taken.
The 10 year old schoolchildren will assemble at Hope and Constitution streets and begin their parade at 2 p.m. If rain forces cancellation, the party will move to Reynolds School after classes.
