The narrative follows a patient showing initial small spots that spread across the body, fatally worsening with lesions across face neck and back. Despite efforts, hair and skin became encrusted as the disease progresses, leading to severe suffering and contemplation of suicide. after twenty one days of treatment the entire infection reportedly cleared.
The notice asserts Mr Henry Kensler of Pittsfield Illinois submitted proof of a cure with a medicine claimed to treat various skin ailments. It states many locals have used it with satisfactory results and offers a full return of $100 if no satisfactory results are experienced after a bottle trial.

William (Walliane) MeCrann seeks discharge of guardian for the estate of Wieltam Ho MeGrann. Mary Ann Peters estate probate is set for Nov 2.
