Miss Gertrude M Hasbrouck Bristol Red Cross executive secretary appeals to local women to help cut and distribute government cloth for the needy. Women should report between 1 and 5 pm at the domestic science room in John Post Reynolds School basement this week. Cloth distribution is set for next Monday with volunteers from Bristol Chapter D A R and numerous church and fraternal groups.

Man Pleads Not Guilty to Nuisance Charge
Anthony Perrys of 13 Ryan Avenue pled not guilty to a state nuisance law charge for using a car to transport liquor. He was arraigned before Justice of the Peace W Vincent Sumpter at Warren Town Hall and held on $500 bail to appear at the Fifth District Court. Perrys was stopped by Patrolman Howard Eagan after a check revealed the odor of moonshine. he remains in custody awaiting federal trial on another liquor transport charge.

Local Players Prepare for Contract Bridge Olympic Event
