Successful Food Sale Aids Church Renovation Fund
Members of the W G Group of the First Baptist Church held a food sale from 2 to 5:30 Friday afternoon in the church vestry to raise funds for renovation. Home made pies cakes brown and white bread clam chowder ham baked beans and doughnuts were sold by the committee led by Mrs John McAleese with members Mrs Harry Bullock Miss Mary E Spooner Mrs James F Stoughton Mrs Eber W Hill Mrs Andrew Christensen Mrs Bertram F Bullock Mrs J H Buffum and Mrs Harold W Baker.

Injured Woman in Bristol Collision Involving Two Cars
Miss Mary G. McKale 41 Franklin street sustained injuries to the right knee hands and right eye Saturday evening when an automobile driven by James Maguire of Providence and another car driven by Anthony Stanzione 162 Mount Hope avenue collided on Main road near the Bristol and Warren Water Works stand-pipe. Memorial Tablet to Unknown Dead at Oaklawn Mausoleum
On Armistice Day 1927 the oldest G A R veteran of a detail of 25 will unveil a cast bronze tablet on the Oaklawn Mausoleum main altar front in Providence. A ventilated copper repository will hold copies of Rhode Island newspapers and durable records of veteran organizations and the men in the detail. The crypt owners will work with a trained historian to preserve a century of Rhode Island life for posterity at the tomb near Roger Williams Park.
