Ightman described state plans for exterete tanks to improve the armory wharf at the foot of Ghia Open Bailt. She said John L. Rego informed her of an agreement between the state and the contractor rebuilding Metacom Avenue for fill on the west side of Poppasquash road north of the Poppasquash Boatyard. The area will be parking for fishermen. Town Solicitor Frank L. Martin will notify Rego that the town owns the west end of State street, launching ramp construction will begin using federal funds. The armory upgrades are the first phase of converting the wharf to a public dock, sponsored this spring by Mrs Brightman.
