Automobiles Collide Near North Cemetery In Slippery Road Incident
Last Saturday evening at 5 30 two vehicles collided near the railroad switch by North Cemetery causing major damage. A light delivery truck from Shepard Stores Providence and a touring car owned by Michael Pellam of Bay View Avenue suffered damage and shattered windshields. Occupants suffered cuts from flying glass and were shaken. Mrs Pellamy and her mother injured.

House Breakers Rob Five Bristol Warren Homes
A gang of sneaky thieves robbed five houses last Friday evening between five and ten. Four homes were entered via false keys and one by breaking a window. the spree included Morris on Hope Street, Moniz on High Street, Dr. L F Gilleran and Medley on Coomer Avenue, and Howard Jones. Cash and jewelry valued in the tens to hundreds of dollars were taken, with a larger sum hidden in Jones’s house remaining unseen. Police suspect a single gang operating in both towns.

Narrow Escape As Train Sideswipes Auto Truck At Warren Crossing
A heavily loaded Fall River auto truck narrowly avoided a collision with a train bound for Bristol at the Main street crossing in Warren yesterday afternoon. The truck steered right to avoid the engine, sideswiping the vehicle. the train’s forward steps were torn off and its motor damaged, forcing a brief delay before it backed to Warren for repairs. The truck sustained minor damage and continued toward the town.
