Visiting Knights Entertained by West Bridgewater Lodge
Eighty five members of Howard Lodge No 16 Knights of Pythias West Bridgewater Mass visited Burnside Lodge in town Wednesday evening. They were greeted on Hope and Franklin streets escorted to the Armory where a degree class was conferred. Notables from Providence Fast Providence Riverside Warren and Fall River attended with Massachusetts and Rhode Island officers. A banquet followed at G A R Hall with 250 Knights present. Chancellor Commander Jordan presided and received a silver chest from Burnside Lodge. presentation by John J Hackett.

Boy Scouts Spread Thanksgiving Dinners and Parade Night
The Bristol Boy Scouts distributed food baskets to 15 families with meat supplied by officers. The Bugle and Drum Band debuted in a Burnside Lodge parade. Troop 1 met at Bristol Ferry for games and refreshments after an open air march. Troop 2 held Patrol Leaders Night. Silver Fox Patrol plans a supper and social tonight.

Naval Reserve Five Loses Opener To Danielson K of C Five
At Town Hall Danielson Connecticut the Naval Reserve five fell 45 to 28 to the Danielson K of C five in the opening game. Danielson led 18 to 16 at halftime and K of C heated up with seven straight baskets in about four minutes remaining in the second half.
