New Ambulance Arrived For Bristol Community
The Colt Memorial Ambulance at National India Rubber Co in Bristol, funded by townspeople in memory of LeBaron C Colt, has been replaced by a larger Cadillac ambulance with a longer wheelbase. The old vehicle logged 940 trips to Providence and Fall River hospitals over eight years, saving about 14100 dollars.

Water shut off Sunday for pipe connections in Bristol
Water will be shut off next Sunday at 8 AM to connect a new main road pipe. The Bristol district south of the standpipe on Main Road will be affected and residents should stock up for several hours. If it rains, the shutdown will be moved to Monday morning December 1 at 8 o'clock.

Freshmen and Sophomores play to a tie in grid clash
In a Wednesday afternoon Colt High sophomores and freshmen battled to a 6 6 tie. Belmore opened scoring with a 55 yard run from kickoff for the freshmen while Remieres cashed in for the sophomores. Munro connected with Leonard for 15 yards late in the game but the whistle ended the scoreless second half as De Cianm Lewis Sousa and Remieres starred for the sophomores and Ponte Leonard and Belmore led the freshmen on the ground.

Dance Success At Hotel Belvedere Thanksgiving Event
A well attended dance in the Hotel Belvedere sun parlor marked Thanksgiving Exe hosted by Hope Circle No 70 Daughters of Isabella. Yacht Club Orchestra provided music and a post dinner concert from 8 to 9. Patrons included Sarah Sweeney state and circle regent and several ladies on the patronesses and arrangements committee.

Auto Accident injures Peck and Colt at Surprise Hill
Joseph Peck of this town and Roswell C Colt of New York were seriously injured in a wreck near the foot of Surprise Hill on Ocean Drive yesterday afternoon. Peck, driver, suffered crushed pelvis and ruptured bladder. Colt had facial and head cuts. Peck was taken to Rhode Island Hospital. Colt rested at Col Merton Cheesman’s home overnight.

Bristol Aerie No 953 of the Fraternal Order of Eagles held a regular session Monday with one candidate initiated. The barn dance at the Bristol Casino was financially successful. A 20th anniversary celebration committee was formed to plan a January banquet, exercises, and a dance for members and their families. The aerie was founded December 27 1904 with 32 charter members. current membership stands at 350.
