Bristol Aerie No. 953 of the Fraternal Order of Eagles set plans for the state convention next summer and invited West Warwick Aerie and Leominster Mass Aerie to host the third ritual contest on December 6 at Columbia Hall. A street parade will accompany the event with Eagles from New England invited to participate. A long list of committee members from Bristol Aerie was named to organize the convention and events.

Women’s Civic League hosts bridge whist event at Belvedere
The Bristol Portuguese American Women’s Civic League held a bridge whist at the Hotel Belvedere with a Turkish turkey prize and multiple town residents winning at tables.
