The Trumpet Club will present reels of fires at St Michael’s Parish House Providence Hospital and State Pier plus Providence drill shed footage. Deputy Chief Fisher will host the Providence fires film. The program includes The Big Little Fellow forest fire reels and starts at 8 with no admission. Chief Charlesworth may attend. The Bristol Train of Artillery rifle team defeated the Batters Café team 714 to 702 at the State Street armory rifle range to claim the Town Council Trophy, awarded in 1928. The Bristol unit took full possession of the trophy with the victory.

Sewer Commission Saves $10,000 by Altering Plans
The Sewer Commission announces a plan change that cuts costs by about 10 000 dollars. The force main will run from Oliver to Bradford street on Hope street, reducing trench depth and allowing gravitation flow to the main outlet. Professors Barrows and Holmgren were present and plans await State Board approval before bidding on December 10. Bristol labor will be used for construction.
