Rotarians Accept Co-operation for Food Station and Plans

The Rotary Club received offers of help from Hope Circle and Bristol Council for its food station project and accepted them. A committee was named for a Community Christmas tree and another for a Red Cross support drive. The club will sponsor a $10 first prize and $5 pecan prize essay contest on Washington and Lincoln with awards at February exercises.

Beatitudes sermon and union service at local church

Congregational Church announces morning service at 1030 with Rev Herbert Gractz continuing his Beatitudes series. Town to vote on loan for Bristol sewage plant plan

Bristol town council considers borrowing notes to fund a sewage disposal plant with a 40 year bond, delaying sale until March for a better rate. An executive session followed, with zoning plans donated by Robert Whitten and a special town meeting set for December to seek temporary funding.
