Afghan squares formed into charity afghans in Bristol display

Bristol public school pupils completed 48 square afghans four feet by five feet four inches to aid wounded soldiers in France. Exhibition planned in F M Dimond's show window tomorrow and Thursday. Half the afghans will head to Boston for shipment by the Surgical Dressings Committee. the rest go via Bristol Red Cross Auxiliary.

Obituary Mrs Mary Perry Dies at 68 at Home

Mrs Mary Perry died Sunday at her home 94 Union Street after a long illness from complications. She was 68, a widow, survived by brothers and sisters. The funeral was held this morning at St Elizabeths Church Rev A P Rebello officiated with interment at St Marys Cemetery.
