Train-Demolishing Auto Wreck Injures Four near Beach Terrace
Four occupants badly injured when a Buick touring car backed onto tracks at Beach Terrace station and was struck by a south bound New Haven Railroad train traveling 20 to 25 mph. Mrs Maude Luther and Mr Waldron of Branford, Ct plus Mrs Waldron and her husband were taken to Rhode Island Hospital. Medical staff reported three in serious condition and Mrs Waldron’s recovery anticipated.
