Town Council Action on Liquor License and Armory Plan
The Town Council yesterday afternoon considered Michael Kerr & Co for a liquor license at 91 State Street but Kerr withdrew the application before remonstrance was read. Captain Luke Callan urged moving or selling the old Wood Street infantry armory and leasing land to build a new armory for Co C. An inspector will report on the armory condition and Gibson and Callan will form a committee to consult with state officers. Fielding L Williams’ sewer connection petition for the Mary A Bosworth house was granted with bond to hold the town harmless.

Bristol Water Works case reheard by Rhode Island Supreme Court
