The Bristol Naval Reserve Torpedo Company dedicated its granite armory with a grand parade, banquet, and ball. Governor Lippitt and staff, Gen Kendall, and Providence and Newport reserves attended. Reeves' Band led a rain-shortened procession through Bristol streets to the armory, where speeches urged a naval reserve for national defense.
