Town council acts to place Del Toro store on aid lists
The Town Council directed Mrs Vasta La R Ruggiero to place Mrs Biagio Del Toro's store on the grocers list for unemployment relief orders. Hibbert urged council unity, saying the town has long taken orders from officeholders and should run itself. Armistice Day events included a banquet, football game, bomb salutes, and a civic parade. The school committee added a second teacher for the growing Americanization class. Local births were announced for several families.
