Large PTA Open House Draws Big Turnout
A large turnout of parents attended an open house at Reynolds Walley Oliver and Rockwell elementary schools. New Armory to Add Two Sections in Bristol Area
The Department of the Army has authorized two additions to the US Army Reserve armory on Asylum Road. A drill shed and a separate garage are planned. Col Roswell King said invitations for bids have not been scheduled. The main armory is under construction at the old Poor Farm site with walls up and roof soon. Occupation by three reserve units is expected by April next year. The center will be named in memory of a Bristol soldier killed in World War II.
