Lengthened Colt High School day approved by committee
At the Tuesday School Committee meeting the Colt Memorial High School daily sessions were lengthened by a half hour from 8 15 am to 1 45 pm to allow longer class periods and higher achievement. The committee also formed a housing facilities survey committee to study overcrowding and future pupil influx.

The Bristol Rotary Club meeting at Hotel Belvedere featured vocal and instrumental solos by Mrs N G Herreshoff Jr and Charles M Morgan with chorus songs. Mrs Frank A Rounds accompanied at the piano as the club plans a ladies night dinner dance on Tuesday November 26 and donated $5 to the Colt Ambulance Fund and the Red Cross Ball Call.

Auto Crash In Town Leaves No Injuries Reported
Ralph W Holt former resident now of North Andover Mass and Walter A Collins of 55 Thompson Avenue collided at Wood and Franklin streets Wednesday around 1130 AM. Holt's sedan overturned breaking a rear wheel and damaging the top while Collins' coupe was damaged. no injuries were reported, seen as miraculous by witnesses.
