The BTA rifle team and Battery C 243d Coast Artillery clash Thursday at the BTA Armory indoor range. The Train team leads toward a Town Council trophy repeat after a 711 to 660 win last Thursday. Lieut Albert Hartley led with 144 points and a 46 standing. other scores included 143 to 144 by several officers, with Sartini at 140.

The Mary Atkinso n Tent No 4 Daughters of Union Veterans held its annual inspection Wednesday evening at 61 Constitution Street hosted by Mrs Metta Nelle. Department Inspector Mrs Mabel Lockwood led the ceremonial review with Miss Ida Clark and department officers in attendance. A memorial service invitation was accepted and the group decided not to participate in the Armistice Day parade.
