Women’s Auxiliary Bazaar Set For November Sixteenth
The Bazaar committee of the Women’s Auxiliary of St. Michael’s Church met at Holmes House and finalized plans for the annual Bazaar on November 16. Mrs. Henry Wood leads as general chairman with numerous co chairs and subcommittees for children’s table candy paintings plants decorations sewing lunch and team knitting lemonade and publicity led by various volunteers.

Bristol Council Knights of Columbus will sponsor a memorial Mass at St. Marys Church on Veterans Day at 9 am. Rev Joseph A Cardozo Jr will preach. Father Cardozo, Newport native and WWI veteran, is CYO Director for Newport County. John J Sylvia of Bristol Council arranges the event with invitations to patriotic and civic groups and all townspeople.

Bristol Council Knights of Columbus will meet tomorrow at 8 p.m. at K of C Hall to plan the annual dinner dance. Thanksgiving turkeys will be given away after the meeting.
