Colt Places Five On Football Selections

Colt placed five players on the seventh set of all class weekly schoolboy football selections in the Class C poll of the R I Inter scholastic League. Bristol jians George Mello Ronnie Formisano Eddie Silvia Bob Leahy and Tony Nastri were named. Formisano Silvia and Leahy were picked for the weekly squad for the third time. Mello made it for the second time marking Colt’s second largest showing.

Akin Honored by American Chemical Society

Russell B. Akin, Colt Memorial High School class of 1929, named chairman of the division of paint plastics and printing ink. Du Pont executive with 20 years service will head field sales services in the poly chemicals department and be based in Wilmington Delaware. He holds BS from Brown 1933 MA from Columbia 1935 PhD 1937 and is a member of Sigma Xi Phi Lambda Upsilon and the ACS. He married Ruth Delclsur in 1938 and has three children.

St Marys Parish Plans Annual Collection Drive
