Town Council President William H Angevine announced the public bath house at Burton street will be torn down and rebuilt at the south west end of Rockwell Park on the former O Wolf Inn site after securing park owner C B Rockwell Jr consent The new facility will face the waterfront with access through the park entrance and a water edge float and diving board placed out from the shore plans include stairs from the bathhouse to the water and continued Red Cross swimming classes and beach use for Burton street residents

Former Bristol Man Awarded $400 For Loss of Ear
Manuel Madeiros of Hudson Massachusetts, a former Bristol resident, was awarded $400 by Judge Alexander L Churchill after Barboza bit off his right ear in a Wood Street scuffle two years ago. Madeiros originally sued for $10,000. The ruling followed default in the Pokanoket Realty Co. vs Ir Ho Breidenthal lease dispute and a reassignment postponement for Wilhelmina Victoria vs John Vactoria. Six aliens, five from Bristol and one from Warren, were admitted to citizenship by the judge. Names listed include Angelina Perreira Carretro, Mary Theresa Burke, Jose do Couto Ramos, Margaret Perry, Carmine Carnicelli, Michele Perna.
