Coffee Drinkers and Celebrations at National India Rubber Party
An odd blend of product advertisement and local court notes fills the page. A promotional line touts a grain based beverage with benefits for children and adults, urging readers to buy 5¢ and 2¢ packages. Nearby, Capt Patrick McGovern receives a sideboard from colleagues at the National India Rubber Company during a jovial gathering. The District Court records a string of cases including fines for Sunday store openings and a sad case of a mother of several children found guilty of drunkenness, with sentences and appeals noted along with other continuations and dismissals.
