Pvt J Furtado son of Mr and Mrs Eugene Furtado of 24 E State Street graduated from the second Marine Division Communications School at Camp Lejeune North Carolina last month The 12 week course for radio telegraph operators was attended by 70 members from various division units and covered morse code typing and operation of radio equipment.
